Slow-Cooked Pork Ribs

Easy ribs recipe! The slow-cooker does most of the work for you, then just a little elbow grease to make the sauce at the end to finish it off!

  • 1.5kg pork ribs

  • ¾ cup melted grass-fed butter

  • ¾ cup of hot sauce (I like “Franks”)

  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons of tapioca flour

  1. Mix together thoroughly all ingredients, minus the pork ribs and tapioca flour, in a mixing bowl

  2. Lay the ribs on the bottom of the slow cooker

  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the ribs, ensuring everything is covered

  4. Cook on high for 4-hours

  5. Once finished cooking, ladle two cups worth of the buffalo sauce into a small saucepan, bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer (you may need to take the ribs out of the cooker and place them aside to get to the juices)

  6. Mix the tapioca flour in a mug with a dash of water to create a paste, then spoon the paste into the saucepan and mix thoroughly

  7. Continue simmering the buffalo sauce until it reduces and thickens to your liking, then pour into a small bowl

  8. Serve immediately with the hot sauce on the side to dip the ribs into!
